This sounds more like an agency than a publisher. And isn't the zombie craze over yet?

Conan & The Demons Of Khitai #4 (Of 4), $2.99
Perhapanauts #3 (Of 4), $2.99
Khitai has been a much better mini-series so far than Russell's disapppointing Jewels of Gwalhur. Perhapanauts has been fun, but I wonder if the concept's got legs or not.
DC COMICS
Batman And The Monster Men #4 (Of 6), $2.99
Gotham Central #40, $2.50
And so it ends... Gotham Central has been one of the most consistent pleasures since I started reading comics again, and I'm really going to miss it. If DC can pull off one series even half as good out of this whole One Year Later event, it'll have been worth it. Almost. Meanwhile, Matt Wagner is becoming one of my favorite Batman creators ever with his Monster Men mini, ranking up there with O'Neill, Miller, Adams and Aparo.
DEVILS DUE PUBLISHING
GI Joe Snake-Eyes Declassified #6 (Of 6), $2.95
No idea how the continuity freaks feel about this one, but on its own merits, it's been a fun read.
GOAT HEAD PUBLICATIONS
Living With Zombies #5, $2.95
Love the company name, and it goes with the zombie title, so this gets Best Title of the Week. Despite the zombies.
IMAGE COMICS
Intimidators #2, $3.50
First issue was solid, if not a slam dunk, but with The Pact finally finished, it's the only Shadowline title I'm currently reading, and that's mostly because Neil Kleid's writing it and I'm a team player.
MARVEL COMICS
Captain America #14, $2.99
Powers #16, $2.95
X-Factor #3, $2.99
Two cheers for Brubaker and David! Bendis, on the other hand, is back on the hot seat as my interest in Powers is fading again.
MOONSTONE
Buckaroo Banzai Preview, $0.50

Heard a lot of good things about this one, but I still haven't found Vol. 1.
SPEAKEASY COMICS
Flying Friar #1, $4.95
Isn't this a one-shot graphic novella? The premise and the previews hooked me, though if it were a mini or an ongoing as opposed to a one-shot, I'd probably pass. I don't do web comics. In related news, Vito Delsante hinted that Speakeasy had some big announcement coming this week...and it's apparently that he's been hired as "as Editor/Licensed Properties...[and] will also be taking care of much of the Public Relations, becoming the 'voice of Speakeasy Comics' in the comics' press." Um, okay; that's more underwhelming than the Rosario Dawson announcement. Certainly explains his unabashed optimism in the eye of the storm the past couple of months, though. Congrats and best of luck to him.

I have no idea who Vito Delsante is. Am I supposed to? Is it wrong that I don't?
Erech: Brownsville! Did I miss that or are you pre-ordering it? Definitely want to check that out. As for Friar's "#1", apparently that's a Speakeasy quirk. It's still a one-shot.
Shane: Delsante's a freelance writer who's got a couple of projects with Speakeasy and, apparently, a lot more faith in Fortier than some of his colleagues. Your not knowing that suggests you're one of the many fans guilty of killing comics. ;-)
